The heavy-duty yet compact design of the Geoprobe® 540B Skid-Steer unit offers the same depth capability as most Geoprobe® 540B truck-mounted direct push sampling rigs. Our Skid-Steer rig has a downward force of 20,000 lbs. and can typically reach depths of 30 to 60 feet. This Bobcat® mounted rig has the advantage of the compact size with increased mobility. By providing its own power source, it eliminates the need for long cumbersome hydraulic lines other limited access rigs deal with.
