Geoprobe® 6600

Heavy weight and maximum capability

The Geoprobe® 6600 is one of the heaviest duty available direct push sampling rig in the industry. The GH62 Hammer generates a downward force of 34,000 lbs. This provides us with the ability to achieve great depths in obtaining groundwater and soil samples. Depending on soil conditions, the Geoprobe® 6600 is able to reach depths greater than 100 feet. In addition, this allows us the ability to install 2-inch temporary monitoring wells by means of driving 3.25 inch diameter rods. These 3.25 inch rods could also be used as conductor casing eliminating the potential of cross contamination and maintain borehole wall integrity during well installation.
